My name is Andrew Townson, and I have the absolute privilege of working as a Direct Support Professional at FRIENDS of Broomfield. Every day, I have the opportunity to spend time with some of the best humans on this earth. My days are filled with supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, being a positive influence in their lives, and providing them with skills to better navigate the ever-changing world around us.

Life is full of challenging moments, and that’s why I choose to lead with compassion and kindness. Humankind is made up of so many unique and amazing individuals, and not a single one is better than another. We all have our support systems as we make our way through life, and it’s important to recognize that some require more support than others.

Today, I invite you to lead with kindness and make a difference in the lives of participants at FRIENDS of Broomfield. Your contribution will directly enhance their quality of life through our Day, Residential, Social & Travel, Supported Employment, and Behavioral Support programs.
