FRIENDS of Broomfield means everyone accepting everyone else as family to me. Before I came to FRIENDS I had worked as a certified nurse aid and always had felt like “ just a number”. I decided to try and find my career where I could help people and make a difference with out being in the medical field. While working as a certified nurse aid I did figure out I had a love for helping people access networks and working in the community. I interviewed at FRIENDS of Broomfield and as soon as I walked through the front door I had a overwhelming gut feeling that this is where I was going to call my home away for the foreseeable future. From the day I started I come to work knowing that I am getting the chance to be a stepping stone to change someone’s future and look forward to that every day.
